Our People
Elizabeth has worked in higher education for over a decade, with a specific focus on graduate admissions and marketing. Before making the leap into entrepreneurship, she served graduate students through her role as Director of Marketing and Communications for Tarleton State University’s College of Graduate Studies in Texas. It was by this experience that she learned how to manage marketing budgets, partnerships, and strategy in alignment with university enrollment goals.
Elizabeth is a native of a small town in southern Indiana where she grew up on a family farm. Her rural upbringing instilled strong appreciation for responsibility, respect, and accountability. As the cornerstones for her business culture, Elizabeth believes these values help her to greater serve her clients. Elizabeth is a proud alumna of Murray State University in Kentucky where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and Tarleton State University in Texas where she earned her MBA. She is a PhD candidate in Information Science at the University of North Texas where her research focuses on emerging technologies in higher education.

Elizabeth Rawlings
Fernanda was born in Mexico and raised in the small town of Seymour, Texas. She recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business and a minor in Spanish. She is a proud first-generation college graduate. Her rich culture and the small community from which she hails taught her the importance of education, hard work, gratitude, and family from a young age. As a young teenager, she worked for several small business owners. Their expertise and entrepreneurial drive sparked a new interest for her, and she wanted to learn everything she could about operating and growing a business and turning ideas into realities. As a young professional, Fernanda is ecstatic about bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to Selected Insights. An additional asset Fernanda brings to the team is her written and oral fluency in Spanish. She hopes to help Selected Insights expand its scope and reach bilingual audiences.
